Lady and the Jakes
"Lady and the Jakes" is a trio of Sarah Wagstaff on vocals with Michael Cerio and Preston Wollaston on guitars. We play many different jazz, blues, standards, Latin, and French songs from the 20s and beyond with a modern twist. Listeners have compared us to performers who used to play in the Phoenix area in the 50s/60s. We’ve performed in many downtown Phoenix cafes and we are perfect for corporate events, private parties, lobbies, restaurants, or any other engagement where a loud band or drums might be too distracting.
