Swingadelic is the New York City metropolitan area's greatest "little big band" that delivers the traditional big band and Great American Songbook music of Duke Ellington and Frank Sinatra's Rat Pack era and comes up with the most listenable and danceable music for your wedding, party or special event. As the party goes on, we can play Motown, the Rolling Stones, and oldies and dance hits from the 50's to the 80's to keep the dance floor packed. Our seasoned award winning band members are all full time professional musicians that can provide whatever you need from ceremony and cocktail hour to the last dance.
The eleven piece Swingadelic has performed at hundreds of weddings, festivals, corporate events, and many clubs from Maine to Atlanta including Lincoln Center, NJPAC, 11 Madison Park, The NYC BBQ, The Supper Club, Windows On The World and Webster Hall. We've played at all major NYC & Philly hotels.
Swingadelic has provided music for film soundtracks and has appeared on many regional TV shows and radio shows worldwide.
Swingadelic has released six albums. The newest release, Toussaintville on ZOHO records, is a tribute to legendary New Orleans songwriter, piano player and producer Allen Toussaint whose hits reigned supreme in the 50's thru 70's pop and R&B charts.
