Jiayi He
Jia-Yi He won silver medals at the World Harmonica Championships in Germany and Japan and the bronze medal at the International Competition in the U.S. He has taught master classes and judged competitions in Taiwan, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Hangzhou and Singapore. He has soloed with the China National Symphony Orchestra, China National Ballet Symphonic Orchestra, Nassau Pops Symphony Orchestra, Northern Dutchess Symphony Orchestra, Calcutta Chamber Orchestra (India), Bloomfiled Mandolin Orchestra, California Pops Orchestra, Cambridge University Chinese Orchestra Society (England), Carson City Symphony, Grampian Concert Orchestra (Scotland), Isle of Wight Symphony Orchestra Society (England), Nassau Community Concert Band, Orchestra Society of Philadelphia, Senior Pops Orchestra of Long Island, South Shore Symphony, Irvine Valley College Emeritus Institute Symphony Orchestra, IBPS NC Youth Orchestra and numerous others. Jia-Yi regularly performs recitals throughout Europe and Asia and has appeared on China’s National CCTV, ABC, NBC, and Sino Television. Currently on the faculty of the Turtle Bay Music School in New York City.
