John Lee Violinist
Violinist John Lee, 20 years old, is an experienced gig and professional violinist based in the Chicago area. He is currently pursuing his undergraduate degree at the Juilliard School of Music, where he studies under the renowned pedagogue Masao Kawasaki. Known for his versatility and artistry, John has performed extensively across various venues and genres.
John is a highly accomplished violinist with over 8 years of experience performing at weddings, private events, corporate functions, and concert halls across the Chicagoland and New York City area. John has performed as a soloist with orchestras including the Lake Forest Symphony and Midwest Young Artists Conservatory, and has been featured live on WFMT radio. He is the grand prize winner of numerous national and international competitions, including the Sherer, Cleveland International, Vancouver, and the Walgreen Concerto competition. He has also honed his craft through masterclasses with some of the most respected names in the classical music world, including Donald Weilerstein, Mimi Zweig, Gerardo Ribeiro, and members of renowned ensembles such as the Jupiter, Callisto, and Cavani String Quartets.
With a versatile repertoire spanning classical favorites, contemporary selections, and custom arrangements upon request, John brings polish, passion, and professionalism to every performance.
