Alice Statham, Harpist
Alice Statham, 20, is a rising senior harp performance major at Carnegie Mellon University. She studied with Curtis Institute alum, Anne Sullivan, and is currently studying with Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra harpist, Gretchen Van Hoesen. This will be her 15th year studying classical harp since the age of 6. She most recently performed her Junior Recital as part of graduation requirements, but has also performed with The Who at PPG Paints Arena and Weird Al Yankovic at the Benedum in 2019, and worked on numerous recording projects since the pandemic started. Along with these, Alice has been performing with numerous orchestras and for special events (weddings, private dinners, etc.) since the age of 9.
