His style with that electric guitar was amazing. I know Matthew will be a great ambassador for the Foundation”.
"Matthew Davidson has been playing guitar for about six years. It looks like 16 when you see him play." ~Kidd Kraddick, host of nationally syndicated radio show "Kidd Kraddick in the Morning".

Matthew was selected to be the guitarist for the 2011 “Kidd Kraddick in the Morning” Rock Camp Band. The week-long camp was held in July at the Kidd Kraddick studio in Irving, Texas. Four young musicians were selected from a group of over 300 applicants. During the camp, the band, named Breaking Even, composed an original song which was professionally recorded, created a music video, and performed live on the air on Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, which is a nationally syndicated radio show. The single recorded by the band, “You Won’t Admit”, is available on iTunes. Breaking Even performed with Patrick Stump at his Dallas House of Blues concert.
Matthew's musical taste was largely acquired from listening to his dad's CD collection of rock music by The Beatles, Eric Clapton,Creedence Clearwater Revival, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Other influences include Maroon 5 and John Mayer.
Matthew has had the honor of sharing the stage with Joe Osborn, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Honeyboy Edwards, Brady Blade, Patrick Stump from Fall Out Boy and Robin & The Bluebirds. Matthew is the youngest member to date of the American Federation of Musicians Local 116, having joined at the age of twelve.
